Actually, you're both wrong. It's 1.16 Joules. LOL.

That's equivalent to 414fps.

How do you figure that? I used the BB Bastard MSED and typed in the numbers.
1.16 joules is 353fps on 0.20's.

0.28g at 350fps is 1.6 joules.

Sorry, I'm an idiot. Woke up too early this morning and hadn't drank my coffee for the morning yet. I'd read the wrong column in my calculator. 1.16 is the FootPounds.

You are right, 1.58 is the Joules.

Hm, very interested in buying one of these now that I'm state-side again, got the chance to game one last saturday, and I will definitely pay attention to this thread as a FAQ.

Any word on when the straight/long mags come along?

They're already out. Been on the market for about 3 months now.

Duly noted, found them on other sites (after minor research) for ~43-46$ each.

Also, just for shits and giggles, is there any difference between the "long magazine version" and the regular version besides the price?

I get that it comes with a 30 round magazine, but is that it?

Yup.

Gah, and now it comes down to where I want to buy it from >.>

eHobbyAsia has it for 200$+67$shipping, it should come within a week of me ordering it, and after the customs and duties, should come to about 275$ (not high on list of preference)...

While Redwolf has it for 250$+32-70$ shipping (depending on if i want it within a week, 2 weeks, or a few months), which should come to about 300-335$...

While Evike has it for 250$, but it's always out of stock, they suck in general, and their shipping is mediocre (bought a KJW M9 once, it came in a regular box (cardboard with "KJW M9" written in sharpie on the cover)).

While PrimaUSA has it listed for 265$, has cheap-ish shipping prices, but still listed as "coming soon." (oh, btw kept forgetting to mention, they have a manuals for most if not all of the guns they carry, including a lot of GBBRs)

Actualy there are afew differences. For one it is one piece unlike the short ones. It has a larger gas reservoir which means less cool down when rapid firing and more consistent fps from shot to shot and it has a higher mag count.

SniperSam September 13th, 2011 18:00

so just the mags are different?

He was talking about the GUN not the MAGS. He knows the mags are different.
There are versions of the guns being sold with either mag included now. That's what he's talking about.

/confusion cleared up
