When you join up, you should be issued two pairs of MKIII Combat Boots. If 17 Wing is out of stock in your size, they should order them in. If 17 Wing is f*ckin you guys over, complain about it an/or goto Clothing Stores on CFB Shilo, they got everything there.

Hi MikeL,

MikeL, mctaz said in his upper post (the one in Italian) that he wanted simply to know what the 1st gen Cadpat looked like and the people who have photos of it. He did not mean to start an argument or discourse.

He has also asked for the mods to close this thread on his behalf.

Paolo, ho detto abbastanza bene?

after said this i must explane.....

i open this thread like a collector, yes i'm a player (i play at AS from about 11 years) but first to be a player i'm a collector, i love military canadian items (like more other country items) expecialy cadpat items.

Like everyone collector i want know difference from different version of items, difference from 1st, 2nd and 3th version of your uniform (white label, green label, HWT, LTWT...), this thread is open only to know something about 1st gen cadpat uniform and not for know info about brown gore-tex boots or to know if reserve have or not last type of cadpat items..... i think that in your country nomore is collectors and this is difficult to understand from normal user

See when i reply at this tread, after calculate time in my country and now i think that you can understand that for me isn't easy to be an ASC user.

i hope that my english is ok Paolo "McTaz"

I have a question regarding the Gen1 waist pockets (trousers). Are they velcro or not? I'm asking because my friend says one and I say the other.
