I think you're partially right. I remember a book on peacekeeping, CF UN troops wearing brit desert DPMs... something like that.

are you sure that wasn't just our airborne regiment? we did have a similar pattern that they wore when the regiment existed.

RECCEGOD & Lerch, I have that same book, your memory is spot on.

The engineers that helped clear Kuwait after GW1 wore Brit DPM. The book is called, "Between the Lines" by Jason McQuarrie.

Random CANSOF guy;)

This will probably be my loadout for next summer. Wearing a Huang RRV. I'll be getting an Aimpoint with a Wilcox mount soon. I'm not sure if I should wear my headset over or under the balaclava. My C8 isn't exactly complete, but getting there. I'm also debating on using my CP Gear Hydration carrier...I'll be wearing black socks next time;)
