Before and after the airbrush paint job

HaZarD SFD January 23rd, 2008 17:43

I have to say that is damn nice.. hows its accuracy? and what weight of bb's do you use?

Marksman January 23rd, 2008 17:49

430 fps with 0.20g, but will use 0.28g or maybe 0.30g during game accuracy look realy better but i dont have tested it yet on a distance with a target but will do it soon!

Andres January 23rd, 2008 19:48

I like the rail system.

HaZarD SFD January 23rd, 2008 19:50

I use .28's .. .30's are a bit more expensive..

I like the big battery concealed in the ammo tactical pouch off the stock, very inovative. Overall great looking gun, wait to see how she performs!

Sha Do January 23rd, 2008 21:31

That's one hell of a project there bro, and nicely done.
The set up is beautiful, as is the paint job, and by what you have listed, she'll preform well.

Again, well done;
SHA DO

ThunderCactus January 23rd, 2008 21:46

You spend the money on prometheus bearings, but didn't buy a prometheus barrel? lol
Nice gun though, awesome paintjob!

Primus January 23rd, 2008 21:57

Belle job le gros!

slans January 23rd, 2008 22:13

Love the paint job! How did you get the Blades of grass look?

Brakoo January 24th, 2008 00:29

Nice M14, pretty similar to my setup but with a different paintjob and cheek rest. I will have to take some new pics of mine I guess.

Wilson January 24th, 2008 08:33

Very, very, very sexy piece of kit. I'm contemplating painting my real version of this...

Shirley January 24th, 2008 09:14

I'm loving the paintjob. Wow.

SEALs January 24th, 2008 12:47

gotta love the paintjob kinda of multicamish shades. Very nice set up. What kind of paint did you use? I like very much the light green. I might do something similar to my SR25

yueprofile January 24th, 2008 12:54

wow, it is just great!

Marksman January 24th, 2008 14:06

the paint used is '' Model Master '' for airbrush, you can find them in hobby shop the name of green color used on mind is '' Green Interior '' from model master

skalnok January 24th, 2008 14:15

very nicely done

FOX_111 January 24th, 2008 14:26

I see that you are still in the habit of doing wicked, awsome paintjobs!

I'd like to have a talk with you, as I got a M700 to paint for next summer!

vatek January 24th, 2008 16:40

I wonder how it performs compared to a TM.

Marksman January 24th, 2008 18:57

gearbox is realy better and stronger than the TM, 285fps for a stock TM and 330fps for the stock CA , stock it come with High Performance Motor,
Metal Spring Guide, 7mm Oily Steel Bushing, and its realy easyer to get in the CA gearbox

HGI January 24th, 2008 19:03

Great job, I'm not to scared to admit I would have freaky love with that gun.

R3CON1 January 30th, 2008 16:25

beau m14.

very nice gun, and i love the paintjob! but i just wanted to clarify that the TM M14 shoot 300+ fps stock i am told. how do you find the wiring on it? i have heard reports that the wiring was too small on the CA version and that it would short circuit and not fire. but i would like to here it firsthand from you. long story short, i almost bought that version, but decided literally at the last second to go with the TM version.

ancorp January 30th, 2008 16:46

Looks top notch, an excellent setup! I take it that you use a 10.8V for better trigger response? I found the CA to have a very high firerate even with a 8.4, but that's stock. Either way, looks great.

Oh and the wiring on my CA looks quite good, no thin China AEG style crap. Their mechbox overall does seem to be better stock then TM.

Grn Bstrd January 30th, 2008 18:06

Loking pretty sweet. You have to show us how accurate it is.
Did you get the paint job by putting vegatation aka leaves, ferns and other stuff on your rifle and spray painting over it?

Xenos-Fear January 31st, 2008 12:21

Très belle job !

Marksman February 2nd, 2008 11:07

sgtscarfy February 3rd, 2008 00:31

Marksman February 3rd, 2008 09:54

~Ghost~ March 5th, 2008 20:24

Mad Cudos on the M14 and i agree with HGI on the fact that id love to love that gun lol

where abouts on ebay did you find the ras rails and what price were they aswell do you do custom paintjobs id like to get mine done up very similar!
~Ghost~

Marksman March 30th, 2008 12:57

the store on ebay is name '' SCOPE 4 US '' and for a paintjob like this one cost is around 160$, for a digital paintjob like ive done for FOX_111 on the M24 cost is around 200$ I can do every camo pattern on a weapon just ask and you will get it!

cawener April 5th, 2008 14:58

well thats one good looking m14 :)
i was just wondering, did you use that guarder cylinder head for version 7 gearbox?
cos i have some pressure issues on my ca m14 scout and im not sure if the marui parts are compatible with ca parts and hop-up system.

bbgunnerman April 7th, 2008 19:49

Looks like a Photoshop paint job.

KNIVEZS April 7th, 2008 19:53
