This is to get the "China" section active and alive, hopefully we'll be able to attract more people here. Also, this is to help people who are interested in the PLA or Armed Police in general. Since the Chinese government doesn't advertise itself like the US does, it can give people who come here a good sense of what the PLA does, wear, uses, etc. At the end of the day, I'm just hoping it will be fun for everybody.

Also, don't post every picture of PLA or Armed Police that you find here. Just post the best ones, the ones that screams "BADASS!!!" or "This is interesting".

Really though, the segway infantry isn't meant to be a viable platform, it's to show off how 'the PLA is so awesome we can afford to be frivolous with our time and money'.

Though on thinking about it, with so much concrete around segways would definitely be cheaper and possibly more flexible than horse cavalry.

BTW, that was from the 2008 Chinese Olympics, where I think they'd need to get to places quicker than on foot. I agree, its so easy getting shot on that thing. But when all you do all day is just patrolling the premises, a Segway is very comfortable to have.

ROC troops can train as much as they want, unfortunately it still wouldn't matter as the amount of troops China has will over-run Formosa pretty quickly if they really wanted to. :rolleyes:
