APS good or bad?
My friend is looking in to purchasing an AEG made by APS, it's his first AEG an AK-47 with blow back.
As I'm fearly new to this I can't advise him if APS is a good reliably company, so I'm counting on your feedback to find out more about APS. If you have any experience with APS or have other suggestions for a descent starter AK, by all means speak your mind Thanks All.... |

No room for the battery for starters. The blowback function actually gets caught when a battery is in the top cover. As well the gearboxes are plastic with terrible plastic bushings. As well the batteries that come with guns are horrible. Just terrible guns.

Be VERY careful with their guns my friend. When you first pick them up, you might think to yourself that they're not bad, considering the price and all.
But inside its god awful. A closer look reveals that the receiver is bumpy and not well made. The innards have proprietary parts in places where it is completely unnecessary (probably them trying to get you to buy their replacement parts when they fail, which will be very often). Plastic everywhere. The EBB is laughable. On their M4 platforms, its an adaptation of CA's design, but even worse. They're much better options out there. Despite a handful of good reviews, after a few games, the gun will most definitely die on you. |

They are very very poorly made guns, infact with the exception of one retailer who totes then as superb all others are liquidating them because they are shite.
