A new gearbox?

I was wondering if it is possible to put in a different brand gearbox for an aeg? I have an ares m14 sopmod and was wondering if it would be possible to put in a G&P gearbox? I ask is because if a part ever breaks I am pretty much screwed (is what I have been told), due to Ares terrible customer service.

No, ARES has proprietary parts.
