L96 exterrnal upgrades/replacement
 

Hey guys, I've got a mauser type 96/l96 and its got the plastic receiver and bolt handle base, now im not a huge fan of plastic as I dont like the feel look or anything about it but my problem is I cant find a metal reciever for these l96s so I was asking if anyone knew where to obtain one of these for a reasonable cost orrr maybe you guys got one?

I don't know what rifle you got, but the Mauser is supposed to be a Well L96.
And this has a pot metal receiver and bolt.

The only rifle I know that has a plastic receiver is the ASR (Advanced Sniper Rifle).
It uses some L96-type internals and the mags look alike, but there is no replacement for the receiver.

I know its mauser but its got a plastic reciever and bolt base, I found a bolt base bot not the reciever I guess I could buy a broken l96 and use that as parts?

Are you 100% sure its plastic? I didn't think shitty china clones stooped that low.. Could just be really shitty potmetal.

I'm 100% as if I pull the scope, the plastic bends and goes back and well it just looks like plastic

Dont know how to post pics, but I put it up to a fan and well like plastic it stayed room temp but metal gets cold and yes.... it bends
