KSC vs TM P226?
 

I'm wondering if I should get the KSC or TM P226?

I don't like that the TM is made out of plastic but I've heard good reviews about it.

I don't like the way that the KSC's hammer bounces and seems wobbly.

I'd like an airsoft that is upgrade able and reliable.

Do you want your sidearm to look and feel good? Or do you want it to save your ass when your primary goes down?

Feel Good and save my ass when my primary goes down. I chose the P226 becasue I love the feel of it.

or you can always get the KJ works p226, metal and TM compatible

The KSC's hammer bounce is to replicate the way a real SIG trigger works and feels. In comparison the KSC's trigger is much closer to the real SIG 2022 I shot than Tokyo Marui's sloppy trigger break.

This can be changed by swapping to a full metal kit, but it costs more.

It's by design, so it cannot be changed -> if you don't like it then KSC is not for you.

TM and KJW, KJW is solid option if you are on budget.

I have the kwc co2 226s5 and love it on .28's. Wiped the remaining 7 players left on the enemy team after I set my Uzi down last Saturday at my local fields open game.

Do you know of any good places to get the TM Full metal kits and how much that would cost?

Reliability is one of my main points, I had the KJW but I found it really heavy and clunky.

I ended up picking up a KSC P226R, I put a KM TN 6.04mm TBB and A Plus hopup bucking rubber to it, I have been using KSC 0.3g, King Arms 0.2g, 0.25g, 0.25g bio BB's and I have never experienced a single jam. It depends on the inner barrel and BB you use.

BTW, if you don't like heavy pistol, then KSC P226R isn't for you. I would suggest you to look at a pistol that has a polymer frame like Glock, XDM, M&P9, HK45 (maybe) etc. If you want smaller size for easier handling (depending on your hand size), then Glock 19, P229 are good options. (sorry, a bit off topic. )

My KSC P226 almost never jams. Feed good BBs, keep it clean and use good gas (propane is fine, just make sure its mixed with GBB oil) and regular maintenance. I.E. clean it.

I feel well crawling up a hill and then accidentally covered the entire thing in mud, wipped the majority away and fired. It was fine. Though I still cleaned it at home.

Most jams happen for me if I am low on gas and it doesn't cycle completely.

B Squared should stock them, if not custom order for sure. I'm a TM fanboy, but due to budget restrictions lately I settled for a CO2 pistol to fulfill my needs, KJW P-09 Duty, love the thing to pieces.
