Em I the only one that notices that the crack is on the eye piece side? (at least thats what it looks like to me), which is a much less common shot...I can understand the front lens, but the back?

It looks like that because of the rubberish edge, right?

Red dot sights don't have your eye up against them though, so the rubber is not for the eye. Also, the red tint on it is to reduce glare is on the opposite side of where you put your eye.

The crack is on the front. :)

Ummmm......the inner lense is the ruby colour, therefore it is NOT the eye relief side.

Uhh no, because all my red dot sights have the brightness adjustment closer to the eye than to the front, like on this one.

Oh well.
