More guns than ever

Anyone noticed how there seems to be more guns available at better prices than ever now?

since the collapse of the retail market.. seems like quite a number of independant small volume sellers have stepped up.

I love a free market... but my cash flow hates it....

Happy buying everyone!!

I figured it's one of those things better celebrated quietly... *glance around suspiciously*

Kokanee April 5th, 2008 13:21

I've noticed just that, a positive side effect of more competition among smaller retailers

ColtFarmer April 5th, 2008 13:22

i noticed it but didnt wanna say anything lest i jinx it =)

But for every one good person who joins the sport, 3 annoying, underaged noobs who are incapable of using google try to join.

Arthraxis April 5th, 2008 13:32

Yes, so we shouldn't let ANYONE new come into our sport EVER again.

Syn April 5th, 2008 13:42

Good. More guns-lower prices- more players- sport becomes more mainstream in society-less soccer mom freakouts.

kalnaren April 5th, 2008 13:47

Well, now that A&A's inflated prices aren't being used as the bar anymore, and with Shootsoft bringing in good stuff at competative prices...

Yea, my accountant is going to hate me in the near future if this keeps up. Or at least he would if I had an accountant.

ThunderCactus April 5th, 2008 13:48

Fact is, AAsurplus pretty well had the monopoly on the market, and 007 wasn't doing much to compete because with only 2 retailers and all of canada as your market, business is pretty ample if your just one man.
But when you start up a new business, you need customers, and to get customers you need a hook, a hook like lower pricing. So more small importers and more retailers = more competition = cheaper guns.
Customs may not like it, but we sure do :)
Haven't I said this like 5 times before? The more retailers we have the cheaper guns will be? lol

Indeed you have. As much as I'm not a fan of total free market, I can't argue with all the airsoft goodness.

KNIVEZS April 5th, 2008 14:00

its a good thing that there is an increase of availability of Guns

but there must be secrets. those "special individuals" that you were referring to should remain anonymous for the safety of them, their business and the community. i really think that by starting this thread, it was a really bad idea. within verified threads only, is a different, but in this way, everyone can see it.

I wasn't going to say anything either, but damn, prices are coming down to the levels Rangers stocked guns way back when in 2004 and 2005.

The thing I like most about this whole thing? You really need to get age verified now to buy stuff. Haha, burn in hell you underaged bastards! :)
