Madbull Noveske RAS

I recently purchased one of Madbull's new Noveske RAS handguards. Problem is that I cannot get the barrel nut to screw onto the threads of my G&P metal body. I have a G&P barrel nut and a King Arms barrel nut, and both of them screw on no problems.

But for some reason the Madbull one doesnt even want to start threading at all.

Anybody out there have this problem as well? Any suggestions on what I can do to get it to fit?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

You're going to need lots of patience, as it took me and Ice-man alot of time sanding out the threads on the inside of the Mabull nut. Just try to make sure you sand the threads as evenly as possible.

G&P uses imperial threads on their body. Mad bull, like TM, Hurricane, KWA and most other airsoft body makers, use metric threading.
Like Silent Souljah said, you'll need to work it a bit.

Took me 10h of hardcore work to do the job...

And +1 on the sand job...It's the only way...

It's not the only way.

Mad Bull has a re-threading die. Takes about 2 minutes to get the job done once you have the die.

Hmm....10 hours of sanding or 2 minutes of refitting. I'll say one thing, at least Madbull has available a means to make it fit.

It's the only cheap way :D...

Look at Jugglez's store for the die...

That depends on how valuable you consider your time. The cost of that die is worth less than 1 hour of my time.

I agree with Illusion on that one. So of course I bought the die. Suppose now I'll have a couple imperial delta rings to sell.

Thanks for the input guys.

Bought the rethreader....sorry to say it doesn't take like two minutes...unless I'm doing it wrong..
