Get a new one. For the 20 bucks it is to buy a new one you'll get lube and a secondary duster tip to go with it. That one is too broken. If it has 1/4 inch left sticking up it could be salvageable, but this one is not. Consider it to be a learning experience and move on.

I've got the old AI from 3 years ago and 2 new plastic ones. I enjoy both, but prefer the plastic one surprisingly. I find it allows the propane to flow better overall, and there is less leakage. I keep my metal adapter at home, and bring both my plastic ones to games. That way I have a backup just in case.
