On my belt, I had a Blade-Tech for my 1911 and a dump pouch.
As IMHO 6+1 mags was enough, I used a mag pouch for the CAT as it's deep enough for it to stay in there, yet easier to take out in a hurry than with an elastic.
The Gerber pouch was attached with rigger's bands at the front as it was more secure for the multitool than one of the small pouches.
I prefer to have the sides as slick as possible, and I didn't need frags nor anything in the big utility pouches so I tightened down the straps as much as I could.
