I find stick lipos (buffer tube) to be a little underpowered I worry about them a bit but then again I have an above average build.
7.4v 15-20C is fine you want as much mah as you can stuff wherever you're putting it. You won't really need to put a mosfet in with a 7.4 just be wary of over draining them.

I futz with V2s, V3s and V6s. I could be wrong... but probably, most likely not, as far as I know.
