The real steel MP5 has a full metal upper receiver and a polymer lower receiver. G&G has mimicked that as the lower is of a good quality plastic (That's what the reviews and the site says.) I think TGM is G&G's way of saying it's the Top Tech series and to avoid licensing issues with Umarex/H&K. I myself plan to buy one of those when I'm Age verified. (You should if you're 18+) Anyway, have fun with it! G&G is a solid manufacturer and with the Top Tech series it's high quality!
