I have to say that the number one thing newbies are afraid to do is to actually get off their asses and go to a game and meet the players. Then all your questions can be answered no matter how stupid they may sound.

HERE on ASC we like to keep the stupid questions away from the stuff that really matters to the airsofters who visit this site every day in order to get the lastest happenings in the airsoft world.

But everyone has questions. I have a G&P Commando and I love it. It is built very well externally but do not expet the best from its internals. I have had issues with the mechbox, the switch, the trigger, the air nozzle and especially the hopup. It really is a brand that you buy when you are expecting to change its internals. But if your new and you don't care if your gun is metal or not as long as it works and is efective. then Stick to brands like TM. I chose G&P because I love troubleshooting my own guns and am not afraid to take it apart and fix any issues it may have.

Thats all I have to say. Everyones experience is different, don't trust just one persons opinion on such things even if they sound like they know what they are talking about.
