I believe the biggest batteries that will fit in the m14 are 8.4vs. If you want bigger, you will either have to gut the stock, or by a Li-Poly battery.
I love my M14 DMR, I think I'll stick with it till the end of my playing days.
As for the parts, just buy a Guarder SP120 FTK, it comes with all the parts you will need, except the tightbore.
