My mom had that done like 6-7 years ago, when Lasik were still in there teens. They have probably improved since them, but Laser Eye surgery is never a perfectly exact procedure. For 5 years, her eyes stayed a good 20/20, but slowly they became worse, and now see needs glasses for reading.
I'm pretty sure that they mention in the contract that the surgery will correct your vision to between like 18/20 and 20/22 area (or something like, two points off from 20/20)
