i dont think you can effectivley paint rubber, due to its flexability, you would need a paint with an excessive amount of flex agent in it, there is a happy medium needed tho, too much flex agent and the paint will never harden/ adhear, too little and it will just flake off. even if you did get an even caot that didnt fisheye/ run or orange peel, the first time you brushed anything against it (shouldering your weapon, a branch, even your finger nail) would cause the paint to loose its adheshion and it would begin to flake off.
