PSG - issues DOA
battery TM 8.4v 600 mah
says "ak" on it (maybe from an ak47?, these are compatible anyways) i charged 550mah in to it @ 2amps...pretty straightforward checked fuze in but...seems ok, the metal inside is not split (is that how you tell?) safety off, no mag, cock, dry fire (like sais on http://www24.brinkster.com/deathstalkers/psg1review.htm) no dice, no clicks, no noise, no hum.... problem = ? Thanks in advance. |

Now depending on how willing or comfortable you are to investigate the problem, it's also possible the motor connectors may have possibly became unplugged, that happened to me once. My M4 wasnt firing, I took the grip plate off and it turned out one of the connectors some how came completely loose. Not sure if this is a common issue but it's another thing to check while you can.

Take it to a doctor, listings can be found with a search. I recommend teammate Manchovie.

Your going to want a bigger battery, maybe even modify your stock to hold a larger battery, most electric DM rifles are run by 9.6v batteries with no less than 1200mah.
It could be a break in the wiring, it'll be obvious if the fuse is blown, but it's most likely that the leads came off your motor as was previously stated. |

What do you mean "cock" exactly? AEG's don't need to be cocked.
Otherwise I agree that it could be the wires loose somewhere. EDIT: Nevermind, read that the PSG1 actually chambers a round when cocked. Last edited by Styrak; December 3rd, 2007 at 21:00.. |

I'm assuming not, which is his first mistake.

1-Read the instructions again.
2-Be sure the battery is fully charged (use a voltmeter). 3-Be sure of what's inside the gun (ask the seller, you should have done that before buying). 4-Find a local expert. 5-We told you so. |

yes im guessing not many people here read my other thread, so its a buddy who gave it to me, the gun was pretty much free...he knows nothing of airsoft, its probably a minor problem, the gun has never been used...bla bla bla...
I have email the 2 toronto doctors, no response yet, I would rather take it to an expert than try myself, thanks for all your comments.... |

Fair enough. Until you can know for sure what's in it, there are no answers for your questions.
